Account & Data Deletion Policy

1. Your Right to Delete Data

At DotsPo, we believe you should always maintain full sovereignty over your personal information and gameplay records. In compliance with Google Play and Apple App Store data safety requirements, this policy outlines how you can request and execute the permanent deletion of your account and any associated data.

2. What Data Is Associated with DotsPo

Depending on whether you play offline or sign in with an authentication provider (such as Google Sign-In), the data associated with your profile may include:

• Account Identifiers: Your unique user ID, associated sign-in email, and display username.
• Leaderboard & High Scores: High scores and timestamps in Competitive Mode.
• Cloud Progress Saves: Unlocked chapters, collected historical clues, and level completion records.

3. How to Request Data Deletion

You have multiple simple ways to request complete data deletion:

Method 1: Directly In-App (Recommended)
1. Open the DotsPo mobile app.
2. Navigate to Settings (the gear icon on the main menu).
3. Scroll to the account section and tap Delete Account & Progress.
4. Confirm your selection. Your cloud records and leaderboard entries will be queued for immediate purge.

Method 2: Email Request
If you have uninstalled the app or cannot access your device, you can send an email to jhuppoapps@gmail.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" from the email address linked to your account, or provide your public username.

4. Data Retention & Processing Timeline

Upon receiving your deletion request, your account and all associated cloud data are promptly disconnected and permanently deleted from our servers within 30 days. Local gameplay data cached on your physical device can be cleared at any time by uninstalling the application or clearing the app storage in your device settings.
